Mission Statement
The Waltham Housing Authority provides low-income families, seniors, and people with disabilities the opportunity to live in safe, decent, affordable and accessible housing. The WHA works in partnership with the City of Waltham, the Massachusetts Department of Housing & Community Development, HUD and local community organizations to support and promote the health, welfare and economic independence of WHA residents and to sustain a diverse and productive population in the Waltham Community.

Board of Commissioners
The Waltham Housing Authority has five members on its Board of Commissioners. Four of these members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City, and one member is appointed by the Governor of Massachusetts. One member must be a housing authority tenant. The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Commissioners and is responsible for the management and operation of the agency and its personnel.

Board Meetings
The Board of Commissioners of the Waltham Housing Authority meets at lease once every month. Regular sheduled meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 4:30 pm at the Community Room at 110 Pond Street, Waltham.
